Sandee has adopted a palette that lifts color to an elevated level of awareness in her paintings.
Successfully handling the interaction of transparent and opaque paints, she combines this exciting use of color with energetic
brushwork. This creates a statement, both bold and serene, infused with a strong presence of light that lends a vibrancy as if from an inner glow.
Sandee has studied at the Art's Student League in New York City, the Scottsdale Artist's School in Phoenix, Arizona, and the University of Memphis, Memphis, Tennessee. Sandee is represented by Local Color Gallery in Nashville, Tennessee; L Consultants in Alpharetta, Georgia; DCI Gallery in Memphis, Tennessee and Artreach Studio and Gallery in Germantown, Tennessee. Her work is well represented in collections throughout the United States as well as in many European countries. |
